Boardwalk Sale: Tips for Sellers

Registration is now closed

Tips for Sellers

  • Rain or shine! Consider bringing a canopy tent or umbrella with a secure stand to keep yourself and your merchandise comfortable throughout the day.
  • Each seller space measures 10′ × 10′ (3m x 3m), giving you plenty of room to showcase your items.
  • If you reserved a space with a table ($25 option), the table provided measures 6′ × 30″ (1.8m x 0.75m).
  • Please bring your own chair and any additional display furnishings you need. Be sure everything fits within your assigned 10′ × 10′ (3m x 3m) space.
  • Feel free to bring a tablecloth or other display coverings to personalize your booth. Tablecloths are not provided by the organizers.
  • Parking near the event is very limited, with much of the available space reserved for food trucks. If possible, plan to arrive by another means or allow extra time.
  • If you are dropping off merchandise by car, expect some delays, as there may be a lineup of vehicles during setup.
  • Sellers are responsible for handling their own sales and payments. If you wish to accept credit cards or electronic payments, please bring the necessary equipment. If you are accepting cash, bringing plenty of change is recommended.
  • Plan to deal with unsold items. If you wish to donate items to the BASES Family Thrift Store, bring the items to Reliance Court once the sale ends at 3:00 pm.

We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
